• Developed expertise in quantum chemistry and computational chemistry, gaining proficiency in simulating the electronic and structural properties of materials using VASP and Quantum Espresso.
• Played a key role in compiling and parallelizing Density Functional Theory (DFT) codes into High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems.
• Authored several Python, and bash post-processing scripts for the visualization and analysis of simulation results.
• Employed Chemcraft and VESTA for modeling COF structures, contributing to a deeper understanding of COFs' properties and their potential for sustainable energy applications.

Handwritten Equation Solver

Developed a computer vision-based system to solve handwritten mathematical equations by training a CNN on a dataset of mathematical symbols and creating a custom Python class for equation solving.

• Achieved high accuracy in symbol classification using CNNs.
• Integrated OpenCV for image preprocessing and symbol segmentation.
• Deployed the model on a web application for real-time equation solving.

Crystine (CRYSTal INsight Engine)

Developed a Python library for data analysis, primarily used in computational chemistry research for analyzing and visualizing crystal structures.

• Automated the conversion of raw computational data into meaningful plots and insights.
• Published the library on PyPI, gaining adoption in multiple research labs.

Computational Study on the Effect of Acetylene Linkage on COF for Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution

Conducted a comprehensive computational study to investigate the impact of acetylene linkages on the electronic properties of Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs) for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER)

• Employed Density Functional Theory (DFT) with PBE and PBE0 functionals using VASP software for geometry optimization and electronic structure calculations.
• Developed a custom Python library, Crystine, for efficient data analysis and visualization, which is now publicly available on PyPI.
